Good idea for a foot climber.
I havent used it yet, also hoping that I dont have the need too.But it looks like an interesting concept
I haven't had to use it but it's nice to have this very compact piece of gear when climbing. I could see it coming in handy when rappelling in case your mechanical device jams. You could girth hitch one end of the puck's tether to the tree and use the other end with loop as a foot loop to stand up and take pressure off of your belay device. There may be other ways to use it. It weighs next to nothing.
Just a cool safety tool that is small, lightweight and easy to clip on and have an insurance policy just in case
