I love how easy it is to use!!!
Quickest way up tree while being tied to tree from the ground!!!
I have only used the quick climber one time so far. However, I think this is the fastest set up going into or out of a tree. I have a decades worth of experience rock climbing prior to hunting and this setup makes the most sense. I think the only opportunity to for improvement is having some kind of back up to the vergo in the rare instance of a catastrophic failure of the belay system. Some might utilize a prusik or an additional mechanical belay device like an ascender. Outside of that contingency, I think this is the most solid set up for being the lightest weight, least amount of items, and relatively easy to newer saddle style hunters. The one piece of advice I have for anyone interested is to PRACTICE using the set up how you hunt. Specifically, start from the ground using the trango vergo and getting comfortable with the harness/saddle set up before going hunting. The more confident in using the set up the less worry you will have actually hunting with little sleep in freezing cold temps. I would highly recommend practicing in the conditions in which you plan to hunt. For me, that means cold and in the dark. 10/10 would buy again.
Quality equipment and quality custmor service!
I still have a lot to learn and practice with this stand but it looks to be a great tool for my hunting line up. If the platform is equal to the customer service Seth delivers, it should be awesome to use. If you have questions, just ask and they will walk you thru it. I look forward to next years hunts.
Better alternative to the one stick in my opinion. Much much faster as well with less exertion. Easy to work around limbs as well. Owner was nice to chat with as well. I hate i didnt buy this sooner.
